ICT offer the opportunity to improve humanitarian aid. For this, all the actors involved in humanitarian aid projects must be taken into account, from experts to those citizens who demand help. Training humanitarian aid professionals up to a high standard is a priority among the EU countries, this includes enhancing their digital skills. And it is necessary to share good practices from different settings. To address these challenges, the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships for higher education Innovation in Humanitarian Response project is being carried out during 2020-2023. InovHumRe 2020-1-PT01-KA203-078796.
Innovation in humanitarian aid is a requirement to achieve the sustainable development goals. And it is also a priority for universities and NGOs in a global context affected by COVID19. At this conference, some of the main research findings up to date of the InovHumRe project will be presented, and a space will be offered for discussion with key external experts and conference participants. We approach this complex topic, deeply impcated by the COVID19 pandemic, in two phases. Firstly, the main experiences of humanitarian aid and digitization in Turkey, Portugal, Spain, Colombia and Brazil will be presented.
Secondly, we will offer an analysis of tools such as photo-denunciation, co-design and other digital resources, with special attention to good practices developed in the US, Portugal and Spain. We will present research results in the fields of humanitarian aid and educational innovation. In addition to participating in the main conference sessions, those registered at the conference will be able to present their communications in five debate sessions.

- COMMUNICATION LANGUAGE: Communications can be presented in Spanish or English, and the five panel sessions for communications will have a section in English and a section in Spanish.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY: Among all the communications presented, the Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee will make a selection, based on quality and adjustment to the congress topic, and invite their authors to publish a book chapter free of charge based on this (between 4,000 and 6,000 words) as part of an edited book in the Social Work Series Collection, published by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi. In order to be eligible to participate in this publication, all the signatory authors of the communication must have formalized and paid the registration fee for the Congress. - Collaborates
